In 2018, Kamau received his Bachelor of Laws Degree with First Class Honours from the University of the West Indies (UWI), Cave Hill Campus. In 2022, he graduated from the Norman Manley Law School (NMLS) a member of the Principal’s Roll of Honour. In 2023, he was awarded a Master of Laws with Distinction from the University College London (UCL). In the same year, Kamau matriculated at the University of Oxford (Christ Church) to pursue a Master of Philosophy in Law where he currently undertakes research in the area of public law.
Additionally, Kamau believes in volunteerism and has held various positions throughout his academic journey including serving on the Cave Hill Guild of Students. He is currently a member of the Rotaract Club of St. Kitts.
Kamau was called to the Bar of St. Kitts and Nevis in 2023 to practice as a Solicitor and Barrister. His areas of interest include civil and criminal litigation, conveyancing, probate, constitutional law and administrative law.
